You ask any moviemaker what their favorite movie experience was, and they’ll say it was one of the first ones, where everyone had to pitch in and do everything together, and you had to struggle.
There are a lot of things that make up a performance, a lot of technical things. It isn’t always just about pulling it up from the darkest recesses of your mind or your heart. It’s your experience and your observation.
Being in love is the only transcendent experience.
